Contribution:

     In my first year at RRC in the Game Development Programming course. This was my first attempt at a group project in Unreal. It was also my first time using Perforce/Helix Core. We worked on a simple premade mechanic and worked from there. For this game, I worked on the sound design and the level transition fade from light to dark. I also used unreal blueprints to create a modular pressure plate system to detect if the player or a cube was on it to move any object in the map on any axis. I also created a blueprint to detect if the key is shattered, then notify the door and open the door. I also worked on the movement of the door with a blueprint timeline.

Game Summary:

     As a merson (moth - person), you navigate a fungal cave system and utilize your laser gun to open light sensitive doors. Use your environment of reflective surfaces to calculate your escape to bring the ultimate light source back to your meeple. The journey will not be linear and is full of hazardous obstacles for you to overcome.
